UF1031 course: UF1031 Dress Repair Operations

In the field of the textile world, preparation and skin it is necessary to know the arrangements in garments and home clothing. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to know the operations to repair garments and home clothing.

- Classify items, clothing and home clothes, as well as its components. - Determine the possibility of making arrangements depending on the type of article or pledge indicating the characteristic of the intervention and complexity based on the required quality. - Recognize the elements involved in conducting arrangements of garments and articles and characteristics of the operations involved. - Machines and basic tools in the arrangement of garments and items, according to cutting, assembly and finished techniques, complying with preventive health and safety measures. - Apply clothing techniques to make arrangements in different items, removing worn or broken pieces for replacement, as well as cutting and sewing or assembling them, according to the characteristics of the materials to grant certain aspects and characteristics.

It develops its professional activity, both on their own and autonomously, in medium, small and microenterprises, in the clothing and fashion sector, dedicated to arrangements, adaptations and customization of garments and articles in textile and skin.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1031 Repair operations of clothing and home clothing certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the textile world, preparation and skin specifically in arrangements and adaptations and garments and articles in textiles and skin, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the repair operations of clothing and home clothing.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
