UF1579 Excavation and Sustainment Operations with Soil Tunnel

In the field of the world of extractive industries it is necessary to know the different fields of the complete mechanized underground excavation with tunneladoras, within the professional mining area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for excavation and support operations with a soil tunnel.

- Analyze the regulation and adjustment characteristics of the soil tunneladoras, operating in accordance with the equipment operating instructions, carrying out the excavation in safety conditions and with the required performance.

It develops its professional activity as a worker on behalf of others in the area of production of large and medium enterprises, public or private, dedicated to underground excavation, with use or not of excavated materials. He performs technical activities, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by technicians of a higher level, of which he will receive general instructions and to which he will inform. The professional activities of the workers of Open or Underground Mining Mining Explorations, in regard to the general safety and specific standards of their workplace, are subject to the regulations of the competent administration.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1579 Excavation and support operations with soil tunnel. Certifying having exceeded the different units of competence included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023 It develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of extractive industries, specifically in underground mechanized excavation full section with tunneladoras, within the professional area of mining, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to excavation and support operations with a soil tunnel store.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
