UF1866 Course: UF1866 course and configuration of telephone equipment

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different fields of the operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional area communications. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the configuration and maintenance of services in private telephone switching equipment and the installation and configuration of services in telephone equipment.

- Describe the characteristics of telephone equipment to identify the services supported by them. - Describe the hierarchical and functional structure of telephone networks, depending on the scope and communications infrastructure used. - Describe and explain the characteristics, elements and services that a telephone system can provide according to existing technologies in the market. - Describe signaling functions in telephone networks, according to existing standard standards and systems. - List the types of switching subsystems and explain their operation, to identify the supports of the services to be implemented. - Explain the technologies involved in the provision of telephone services based on the communications infrastructure to be used. - Cite the criteria used in the selection of a telephone system from functional specifications for the provision of services. - Install telephone services in the telephone system equipment. - Interpret a scheme of a telephone system, identifying the elements that integrate it according to existing technologies and media. - Describe the procedures to incorporate new telephone services into an existing system. - Install telephony services in a telephone equipment, interpreting the technical documentation of the equipment and verifying compliance with the requirements prior to the installation. - Install and connect the required modules using specific tools and following the instructions indicated in the corresponding technical documentation. - Perform tests to verify that the installed devices work according to the specifications. - Record in the documentation of the equipment the extensions made.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in public or private companies or entities of any size, which have connection to public networks for transport and transmission of data, in the Network and Communications Department.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1866 Formative Unit. Installation and configuration of services in telephone equipment, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of computer science and communications, specifically in the operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional area of communications, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the installation and configuration of services in telephone equipment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
