UF2741 COURSE Training of dogs in search and location of people through vent, in collapsed structures and interior of buildings

In the field of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of canine instruction in security and civil protection operations, within the professional area Security and Prevention. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the application of dog training in search and location of people through vent, in collapsed structures and interior of buildings.

- Understand the origin and evolution of human smell and its dispersion in collapsed structures, building and confined spaces, as well as security and self-protection measures to work these environments. - Stipulate when and how canine equipment for search and location of people through vent, in collapsed structures. - Develop a work program to train the dog, previously selected, for the search and location of people in collapsed structures or facilities and buildings, through vent, attending to their physical and attitudinal qualities. - Apply training techniques, depending on an established work program, to teach a dog to search and locate people buried in collapsed or interior structures of buildings, denoting the presence of the guide.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and of others, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, and homes of individuals, as well as, in public administrations and/or entities, related to defense and surveillance security, detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, search and detection of smelling substance, in the support operations to entities associated with safety and/or civil protection. Its activity with a general character, it performs autonomously, although it can depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2741 Dog training in search and location of people through vent, in collapsed structures and interior of buildings certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding certificate. of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, specifically in canine instruction in Civil Security and Protection operations, within the professional area of security and prevention, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the training of dogs in search and location of people through vent, in collapsed structures and interior of buildings.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
