UF2803 course: UF2803 Color management planning in graphic processes

In the field of graphic arts, it is necessary to know the different fields of production management in printing processes, within the professional printing area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for color management planning in graphic processes.

- Assess coherence in color reproduction, determining mismatches and possible causes, based on the basic principles of color science. - Evaluate the possibilities of standardization of workflows related to color management in the graphic industry analyzing, through process diagrams, the devices involved and the necessary adjustments. - Define the guidelines for the implementation of a color management system in workflows that guarantee the greatest possible coherence in color reproduction, considering the specific standards. - Evaluate the possibility of certification of color test systems, in accordance with standardized printing standards, analyzing the means used and specifying the necessary adjustments.

It develops its professional activity in the graphic industry, in private or public printing companies. In small, medium or large companies, with very diverse organizational/technological levels. It is integrated into a work team where it develops individual and team tasks. He performs his work as an independent technician or as an intermediate command that organizes and directs the work of a technical team in his charge, assuming collaboration functions in the management of environmental security and prevention, being able to perform, among them those of basic level of occupational risk prevention. It depends hierarchically on the Director of Production and/or the Company Manager.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2803 Color management planning in graphic processes, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of graphic arts, specifically in production management in printing processes, within the professional area printing, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to color management planning in graphic processes.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
