Higher Program in Intercultural Mediation: Certification in Mediation and Conflict Resolution for Teachers, Teachers and Counselors (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

This new social scenario shows that the intercultural challenge constitutes a requirement for citizenship of the early 21st century. But this demand is lived and experienced by each particular individual from the existential contexts in which it is immersed (cultural, linguistic, class), and that constitutes an element of identification and differentiation with the other. This course offers the necessary training to know the intercultural mediation and conflict resolution for teachers, teachers and counselors.

- Make an approach to the reality of cultural diversity. - Describe the key concepts involved in mediation processes. - Present reality the conflict and its resolution in the school environment for cultural reasons. - Describe the reality of intercultural mediation in the school environment and its procedural nature. - Present the figure of the mediator and its competences. - Know the different reasons for social exclusion and the mediation process in school.

This course is aimed at all those teachers of early childhood education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. Education professionals interested in quality training that allows them to deal with the changing reality of the classrooms and the new competences that are required for the exercise of their profession.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
