This introduction course to gene therapy prepares you to understand the fundamental concepts of gene therapy, as well as to know its potential in the treatment of various genetic and acquired diseases. You will know the main techniques of molecular biology used for genetic edition or for administration of genetic material in ex vivo or in vivo cells, as well as the main vectors used for this last purpose.

This course of introduction to gene therapy is aimed at professionals in the field of biosciences (biology, biotechnology, biomedicine ...), as well as health sciences (medicine, pharmacy, nursing) and related disciplines that wish to acquire updated knowledge about gene therapy and their applications in current medicine.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
