Summary

In the field of the Maritime-Pesquera Family, it is necessary to know the fundamental aspects in auxiliary and support activities in the port. Thus, with the present course of the professional area Fisheries and Navigation, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to know the main aspects in auxiliary activities and support to the ship in port.

Goals

- Collaborate in the loading, discharge and transfer maneuvers of the ship in the port. - Carry out the work of starting, maintenance, manipulation and repair of the fishing elements, during the stay of the ship in the port. - Collaborate in the maintenance and rooting of a fishing ship.

Professional opportunities

It develops its professional activity on their own, in fishing companies dedicated to extractive activity, being able to expand this area to network shops and other industries directly related to fishing activity. It depends functional and hierarchically on a superior.

To prepare you

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MAPN0109 Professional Certificate of Auxiliary Activities and Support of the Ship in Port certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
