MF1660_3 course, recreational competitions, activities and physical-sports and recreational animation games for users with intellectual disabilities

In the field of physical and sports activities, it is necessary to know the different fields of physical-sports and recreational animation for people with disabilities, within the professional area of recreational physical-sports activities. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for events, recreational competitions, activities and physical-sports and recreational animation games for users with intellectual disabilities.

- Identify the characteristics and needs of users with intellectual disabilities participating in physical-sports and recreational animation activities from the report of the reference diagnostic analysis, detect in situ the possible deviations that can be observed in the direct interaction with the group of participants in the programmed activity and determine the sports profile and motor competition of said users. - Apply procedures for the management of facilities, open and closed spaces, natural environment, media and materials with activities, games, sports with and without adaptations for users with intellectual disabilities. - To specify the resources of intervention and physical-sports animation activities, established in a reference program, for users with intellectual disabilities, adapting them to their needs, typology and the available means, based on the data and information obtained, following the procedures established within an interdisciplinary team. - Apply management techniques and revitalization techniques and sports initiation for users with intellectual disabilities, correcting the deviations detected with respect to the operational programming of each session, to achieve a maximum adaptation of the activities programmed within optimal parameters of safety and risk prevention. - Apply techniques for the organization and development of recreational competitions and physical-sports and recreational events for users with intellectual disabilities, and accompany them in their participation ensuring their maximum autonomy and safety, integrated into an interdisciplinary and coordinated team with all the technicians involved. -Perform the periodic and final evaluation of physical-sports and recreational activities and events for users with intellectual disabilities, applying techniques of obtaining, treatment, processing and registration of the information obtained and establishing the necessary feedback that allows to improve future projects of physical-sports and recreational animation for users with intellectual disability.

It develops its professional and autonomous activity or on behalf of an animation project with physical-sports and recreational activities for people with disabilities, both in the public sphere, non-governmental organizations, foundations, associations, as well as in private entities, whether large, medium or small businesses that offer active leisure services, recreation, sports animation and active tourism. Its activity is carried out in sports courts, natural and local environments, in municipalities, reference centers of people with disabilities, occupational centers, sports and sports clubs and associations, recreational and leisure, gyms, communities of neighbors, educational centers and related facilities and tourism companies, hotels, camping, spas, camps, infrastructure maintenance companies and/or sports management, following the procedures established Within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating and coordinating other technicians.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1660_3 events, recreational competitions, activities and games of physical-sports and recreational animation for users with intellectual disabilities, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non-formal training, by which it will corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of physical and sports activities, specifically in physical-sports and recreational animation for people with disabilities, within the professional area of recreational physical-sports activities, and all those interested in events, recreational competitions, activities and physical-sports and recreational animation games for users with intellectual disabilities.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
