MF1713-3 Course processes of scenic machinery applied to the live show

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of scenic machinery for the live show, within the professional arts area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to make the assembly, disassembly and maintenance of machinery equipment and scenographic elements for an event or live show in changing exploitation conditions.

- Explain the operation of the facilities and equipment of the machinery for the suspension and movement of scenographic elements, both in fixed premises and in assemblies made in ephemeral spaces, justifying the choice of devices attending to the technical requirements. - Apply specific techniques for manipulation, assembly and operation of the scenographic elements from the analysis of the exploded, structure and functionality of the constituent parts, following the assembly plan and carrying out the operations with security. - Apply techniques and procedures for the management of machinery equipment for the suspension and movement of scenographic elements, both in fixed premises and in the assemblies made in ephemeral spaces taking into account the criteria with which they are designed, the functions they perform, the established uses and the requirements of insurance - maintain attitudes and behaviors, according to the codes of professional conduct in montage processes and disassembly of live show. - Apply operational principles and procedures for the prevention of risks related to the safety of workers in the assembly and disassembly tasks of the decorations. - Apply specific manipulation techniques in the disassembly of the scenographic elements from the analysis of the exploded, structure and functionality of the constitutive parties, following the disassembly plan and carrying out the operations with security. - Apply procedures for the corrective and preventive maintenance of the materials, equipment and facilities of the machinery, guaranteeing its good condition and safety. - Apply procedures for the storage of the scenographic elements (decorated, curtains among others), equipment and fungible materials, that avoid their deterioration and ensure their availability and using the computer tool for their management. - Apply wood carpentry techniques in the construction of scenographic similes of scenic machinery. - Apply metal carpentry techniques in the construction of accessories and the maintenance, adaptation and repair of scenographic elements - Apply synthetic material techniques in the restoration of the finishes of scenographic elements. - Apply painting, aging and textured techniques in the restoration of the finishes of scenographic elements.

It develops its professional activity in large, medium and small businesses dedicated to live representations in all kinds of shows and acts, with the presence of live public, under the direction of higher levels technicians or in collaboration with graduates of the same level. Work, on behalf of others or as a freelance, in show premises, tour companies or service companies. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1713_3 training processes applied to the live show, certifying having passed the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in scenic machinery for the live show, within the professional arts area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge necessary to make the assembly, disassembly and maintenance of machinery equipment and scenographic elements for an event or live show in changing conditions of exploitation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
