MF2115_2 Course: MF2115_2 Replacement and assembly of partial watchmaking elements

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of the replacement, assembly and maintenance of fine watchmaking elements, within the professional area of jewelry and goldsmiths. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to replenish and mount partial elements of fine watchmaking.

- Describe the typology used throughout the history of time measuring instruments. - Determine the structure and fundamental characteristics of the different types of watches. - Describe the operation of the different types of watches - Determine the tools, tools, machinery and equipment for the replacement, maintenance and restoration of watchmaking, complying with the regulations for the prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection. - Apply watchmaking techniques, fulfilling the reception sheets, visually examining the set, indicating the requested intervention and the risk of deterioration, identifying the clock and recording its status. - Apply clocking / maintenance viability analysis techniques, both technically and economically, valuing the risks of deterioration, technical limitations, availability of materials, and participation of other professionals, to decide the convenience of the intervention and carry out budgets. - Use customer service procedures, issuing invoices and attending complaints. - Apply partial replacement and assembly interventions of external components in fine watchmaking, taking into account the supply of tools and materials and identifying measures to prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection. - Apply partial replacement and assembly interventions of fine watchmaking sources, taking into account the supply of tools and materials and identifying occupational risk prevention measures and environmental protection. - Apply quality control techniques in fine watchmaking, checking the final finish.

It develops its professional activity in businesses, companies and/or watchmaking workshops dedicated to the distribution, sale, repair and maintenance of fine watchmaking (electronic watches, hybrids and quartz). He works on behalf of large watchmaking brands, under the supervision of a hierarchical superior, or on his own.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF2115_2 replacement and assembly of partial fine watchmaking elements, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that they publish the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
