Newborn health and care course

This course in health and care of the newborn offers you a specialized training in the field. It is understood by a newborn or healthy newborn, without complications or pathologies, the name that the baby receives with less than a month of life that has been born well by vaginal or caesarean section. The care of the newborn begins from the first moment of the birth, in order to verify the health status of the neonate and discard or address possible pathologies.

- Describe the concept of newborn, its classification and behavior. - Identify the basic care that is carried out in the newborn. - state and describe the main problems and diseases associated with the newborn. - Take care of the newborn with pathologies from the knowledge of the usual treatments and procedures that are carried out in neonatology. - Collaborate with the rest of the health team to properly proceed in the care of the newborn.

The present course in health and care of the newborn will be aimed at knowing the most important aspects related to the care of the newborn, including its basic care from birth and the most common pathological and diseases in this population, as well as the procedures that are carried out most frequently in the Neonatology Service.

The health course and care of the newborn is addressed to pediatric doctors and other health professionals who attend the newborn. It is also aimed at all those health professionals interested in expanding knowledge. This course in health and care of the newborn is also aimed at all those non -professionals who, for different reasons, can be interested in the health and care of the newborn.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
