Socio -labor skills course and pedagogy: Professional technician in training in socio -labor skills of people with disabilities + therapeutic pedagogy (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

At present, in the world of sociocultural services and the community and within the professional social area, more specifically in the labor insertion of people with disabilities, it is very important to know the different processes. Therefore, with this course it is about providing basic knowledge in therapeutic pedagogy in addition to providing the necessary training to know training in socio -labor skills of people with disabilities.

- Promote personal autonomy for socio -labor insertion of people with disabilities through skill training. - Promote social skills depending on the user to achieve socio -labor insertion. - Train work skills, required by the user to achieve labor insertion and maintenance. - Support and stimulate communication with users using, if necessary, - intervene in situations that can cause alterations in the user behavior that requires it to favor its adaptation in the work environment, under the supervision of the competent professional, if necessary. - Know the evolution of special education in recent decades. - Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged throughout the time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the identification and assessment process of educational needs. - To guide both students, family and other professionals in the educational process. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
