Genus Equality Networks Course: Specialist in Network Creation in Geno Equality

In the field of sociocultural services and the community it is necessary to know the different fields of promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the processes of participation of women and men and creation of networks for the impulse of equality.

- Point out strategies to promote processes of creation and consolidation of collaboration structures, and the creation of contacts with the agents of the intervention environment, aimed at improving the participation of women in the public sphere. - Analyze group processes from a gender perspective, indicating conflict management techniques. - Determine accompaniment and advice processes to women, which facilitate their participation in possible existing structures in an intervention environment. - Raise accompaniment and advice actions aimed at favoring the individual and group "empowerment" of women by enhancing social and roles change in society. - Determine useful and proven information collection processes that allow the diagnosis of situations of discrimination due to sex. - Identify the reproduction of sexist and discriminatory stereotypes in language, in the treatment of images and in situations raised. - Assess levels and types of participation of the recipient population, in the different areas where people's lives develop: economic, political, associative, leisure and quality of life, among others, disaggregating data by sex. - Identify key elements of inequality between women and men triggered from situations of violence against women in the intervention environment.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others in the public and private sphere, in collaboration with the intervention team and from the direct supervision of the competent person of higher level. Likewise, it detects situations of inequality and the needs derived from it, organizing and transferring the relevant information in the subject of their specialty, both to the reference population and to higher level professionals, to promote and guide actions in the field of effective equality of women and men, and prevent discrimination of the female population. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of sociocultural services and the community, specifically in the promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area training and education, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the processes of participation of women and men and creating networks for the impulse of equality.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
