Historiography Course: Current Specialist Course of Historiography

The learning of history requires the management of knowledge of very diverse branches. Thus, through the study of the evolution of the historiographic thought and production of humanity, it is aspired to grant a rational training of knowledge of humanity in the past and today. Thus, the course, historiographic tendencies, will contribute the necessary knowledge to strengthen training in relation to the history of mankind.

- Recognize the main theories that arise throughout history. - Determine the origins of historical knowledge and historiography. - Being able to identify the most relevant aspects of the social history of humanity. - Concreate the Annal School as the dominant historiographic current for practically all the French historiography of the twentieth century. - Analyze the different artistic movements and paradigms that emerged during the twentieth century, postmodernity. - Study historiography from a feminist perspective, giving value to the contributions made by them. - Clarify postcolonial theories in the legacy of Spanish and Portuguese colonization. - Inquire into the study of other current historiographic trends through the achievements and limitations of the various research currents. - Enter the tools that historiography use.

This course of historiographic trends, gives students the knowledge, skills, competences and skills required in the performance of a correct and successful task, in the workplace of history. As well as allows to know the most relevant contents in relation to the birth, evolution and development of the historiographic tendencies of humanity.

This course in historiographic tendencies is aimed at the professionals of the world of history, specifically those who show special interest in the origins and evolutionary tendencies of history, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the evolution and birth of history.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
