Summary
Talking about web accessibility is to talk about universal access to the web, regardless of the type of hardware, software, network infrastructure, language, culture, geographical location and capabilities of users. With this idea of accessibility, the web accessibility initiative, known as WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative). It is an activity developed by the W3C, whose objective is to facilitate the access of people with disabilities, developing accessibility guidelines, improving the tools for the evaluation and repair of web accessibility, carrying out an educational and awareness work in relation to the importance of the accessible design of web pages, and opening new fields in accessibility through research in this area. In addition, today web development is practically indispensable for any application, either to launch a website at the public level, or to work internally in an organization. A website gives us availability and accessibility at any time and from anywhere, with this Master course in web usability to face the development of an accessible web application.
