Summary

Today the use of chemical media and products destined to the control of pests can cause possible damage to people who work with them and the environment. This makes it essential to prepare, transport and apply these means and products in health and safety conditions. This course will contribute the necessary knowledge about the techniques of application of means and products for pest control.

Goals

- Distinguish the most representative characteristics of pests that act in built areas. - Identify the main species of pests that affect the landscaped areas. - Apply the action procedure defined by the technical manager for the development of an integrated pest control, both in landscaped and built areas. - Distinguish the main techniques and machinery used in the application of biocides and phytosanitary products. - Prepare the necessary means and products to perform chemical treatment. - Apply the products taking into account the procedures established in the action program.

Professional opportunities

The professional qualification of services for pest control will allow professional practice in the field of: pest control in the natural and urban environment, and establishments of biocidal and phytosanitary products.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0079_2 application of means and products for pest control, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
