MF1686-2 Course Definition of the process of making artisanal pottery products

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different techniques of determining artisanal pottery pieces from shapes, dimension and materials to be used in artisanal pottery. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to define the process of making artisanal pottery products.

- Study the historical and cultural evolution of the artisanal elaboration of pottery and ceramics. - Apply project methodology in the development of artisanal pottery products. - Apply manual techniques of graphic representation in the development of pottery products. - Analyze the procedures for the application of drawing and color techniques. - Know the procedures for the application of digital techniques of graphic representation. - Identify ceramic compositions in relation to form and technique. - Determine processes for the elaboration of artisanal pottery pieces, based on information about their characteristics, elaboration techniques and materials. - Determine the needs of materials, tools, auxiliary media, energy and labor in the process of preparing artisanal pottery products, depending on the production system.

He develops his professional activity on behalf of others, in artisanal and artistic companies and workshops, whether public or private, small, medium and large, related to the realization of artisanal pottery pieces, carrying out their work within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by the upper or ceramist technician. You can also exercise as an independent or associated professional with other professionals.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1686_2 training module definition of the process of preparing artisanal pottery products, certifying having overcome the different competition units in them included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in the processes of determining artisanal pottery pieces from forms, dimension and materials, and all those interested in defining the process of making artisanal pottery products.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
