MF1878-2 Course maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment

In the field of installation and maintenance, it is necessary to install and maintain elevators and other lifting and transport equipment within the professional area of machinery and industrial equipment. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment.

- Perform the inspection-management operations of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment, in accordance with the current technical inspections regulations, to established plan and maintenance procedures, in accordance with the manufacturer's standards, and complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Locate and diagnose the failure and/or breakdown of the elements of the mechanical elevators system and other fixed elevation and transport equipment, using plans and technical information and applying established procedures. - Perform repair operations by replacement of parts and / or elements of the mechanical system of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment, establishing the disassembly / assembly process, using instructions and plans manuals, restoring the functional conditions, with the required quality and safety. - Locate and diagnose, at its level, the failure and/or breakdown of the electrical and automatic systems of mechanical, hydraulic and tire of elevators and other fixed equipment and transport equipment, using plans and technical information and applying established procedures.

It develops its professional activity in the areas of installation and maintenance of small, medium and large companies, public and private, both on their own and foreign, dedicated to the manufacture, installation and maintenance of fixed equipment and systems of elevation and transport of people and loads.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1878_2 maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of installation and maintenance, more specifically to the installation and maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment, within the professional area of machinery and industrial equipment and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
