MF2018-3 course training techniques applied to dogs signal

In the field of sociocultural and community services, it is necessary to know the different fields of the instruction of assistance dogs, within the professional area of the consumer service. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to train and link signal dogs for people with hearing impairment.

- Analyze and relate the characteristics that enable the person's unity with hearing impairment and the alert dog taking into account the prevention of hazards, the identification of risk and animal welfare. - Determine Specific training activities of the sound alert dog for assistance to people with hearing impairment, taking into account the well -being of the dog. - Determine dissemination activities of the tasks of the sound alert dog (presentation and/or exhibition, among others) in public and private events, with attention to the media, which facilitate their social acceptance, taking into account the prevention of hazard Sound alert, taking into account hazard prevention, risk identification and animal welfare - apply training techniques to sound alert dogs for public access with their user with hearing impairment (transport, shopping centers, public buildings, among others), taking into account hazard prevention, risk identification and animal welfare. - Determine conditions and actions that allow the unity of a person with hearing impairment and an sound alert dog taking into account the prevention of hazards, the identification of risk and animal welfare

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF2018_3 training module Training techniques applied to signal dogs, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of sociocultural services and the community, specifically in instruction of assistance dogs, within the professional area of the consumer service, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge necessary to train and link signal dogs for people with hearing impairment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
