UF0966 course collection of wild fungi

In the field of agrarian, it is necessary to know the different fields of auxiliary activities in forest exploits, within the professional forest area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the collection of wild fungi.

- Collect wild fungi of the most common marketable species in the area and prior identification and description of them. - Describe the anatomical characteristics that allow distinguishing different species of fungi. - Explain some aspects of the function of fungi in the forest ecosystem. - Expose the collection procedures that unnecessarily damage the populations of fungi and the forest ecosystem. - Distinguish existing wild fungal species in the area. - Describe the methods for the transport and collection of wild fungi so that they maintain their qualities. - Indicate the dangers of fungal manipulation poisoning. - Explain the most common labor risk situations during the execution of these works and the preventive measures to be adopted to avoid it. - Execute the previous work by adopting occupational risk prevention measures, minimizing environmental impacts and respecting the applicable regulations.

It develops its professional activity in large, medium and small businesses, public or private, on behalf of others, dedicated to forest uses.

This formation conforms to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF0966 Collection of wild fungi. Certifying having exceeded the different units of competence included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023 It develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
