Curriculum

Summary

Within the world of sociocultural services and the community, it is necessary to know the different fields of the labor insertion of people with disabilities, within the professional area of social care. Thus, this course is intended to contribute the necessary knowledge for the communication skills and promotion of adapted behaviors of the person with disabilities. In addition, this course provides us with the tools to know if there are difficulties in language, in addition to making us known the different disorders and how to act before them.

Goals

- Determine interventions aimed at promoting user communication using alternative communication systems. - Know the different dimensions and components of oral and written language. - Know in depth the development of the communication and language process. - Evaluate language through different prodes. - Know the different speech and written language disorders. - Know language development disorders.

Scope of Education (educational centers, reinforcement, etc.), in associations (multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, laryngectominados ...) and in private consultations.
