Summary
This course of linfetic study and treatment will provide you with integral knowledge about this medical condition. Throughout the three didactic units, participants will learn about the causes, types and diagnosis of lymphedema, as well as conservative treatment options, including personal management techniques, physical therapy and feeding guidelines. In addition, advanced therapies and invasive procedures used in severe cases will be explored, as well as the management and long -term monitoring of patients with lymphedema, emphasizing the importance of continuing education and psychological support. All this guided by the best quality guidelines in dealing with patients

To prepare you
With this course of linfetic study and treatment you will acquire solid knowledge about the causes, diagnosis and types of lymphedema, as well as the conservative treatment options and advanced therapies available. You will learn to apply techniques for handling and personal care of lymphedema, as well as managing and monitoring patients. You will understand the importance of psychological support in the integral management of this condition.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
