Summary

The growing social awareness linked to sustainable development and environmental protection indisputably involves the construction sector due to its direct relationship in the exploitation of resources and the production of waste during the constructive and subsequent demolition phase of the buildings, this linear model (exploitation, use and discard of the material) forces the application of urgent solutions that attack the unsustainability exposed to the environment. In Isem we are aware of the current problem, so through the circular construction master, students are offered the necessary knowledge for the implementation of methods (such as Levels), strategies and application of technologies aimed at guaranteeing the sustainability of the planet.

Goals

- Identify the current environmental problem, its evolution and future consequences for the planet. - Recognize the importance in the implementation of strategies in favor of sustainable cities and Smart Cities. - Study sustainable architecture through the concept, materials and constructive techniques of this discipline. - Define the Smart Cities through the study and analysis of urban plans, management and applicable legislation. - Know the importance, principles and objectives of circular construction. - Identify the circular economy as an indispensable mechanism for the sustainability of the planet. - Learn to apply Level (s). Common EU framework for the evaluation of sustainability in buildings.

The most outstanding professional outputs offered by the Master under circular construction are associated with private and public sectors in the field of construction, such as the design, rehabilitation and recovery of urbanized buildings and sectors by applying the principles of sustainable development, economy and circular construction.

The circular construction master is aimed at training professionals with a broad vision of environmental problems, providing information about the circular economy, applicable legislation, characterization, techniques and waste treatment. It also offers constructive alternatives and evaluation processes for the assessment of sustainability in buildings, such as Level (s).

The circular construction master is aimed at students, architecture professionals and the scope of construction, engineers, urban planners and design profiles interested in circular construction and the principles of the circular economy, as well as in the application of new technologies, resources and mechanisms based on environmental sustainability.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
