UF0052 Course Organization and provision of the reception service in accommodations

In the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically, in relation to the fundamental aspects of accommodation, it is essential to know how to manage the reception department, according to the general planning of the accommodation establishment, developing and ensuring the correct provision of the services that are its own and the execution of commercial actions. Therefore, with the realization of this course, the necessary knowledge will be obtained to organize and provide the reception service in accommodation.

- Analyze the most frequent organization and functions of the reception departments, justifying organizational structures appropriate to each type of establishment. - Analyze information management procedures at the reception, exploiting their own computer applications and justifying their use in different types of accommodation. - Analyze the processes of the reception department and apply the suitable procedures for the correct provision and control of the services that are inherent. - Develop collection and billing management processes, applying suitable procedures and operations for their realization. - Analyze the security service of lodging establishments, relating the organizational structure and security contingencies with the applicable security elements and measures.

Carries out its activity in all types of hotels and other tourist accommodations such as motels, spas, tourist apartments, campsites, holiday cities, rural tourism establishments, etc. It also has a departure in certain entities dedicated to tourist distribution, such as reservations, distribution systems, representatives of service provisions, etc.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0052 training unit Organization and provision of the reception service in accommodation, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those people who, due to their work functions or for personal interest, intend to acquire knowledge related to the world of hospitality and tourism, in the professional area of the reception in accommodation, more specifically in the organization and provision of the reception service in accommodation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
