Curriculum

Summary

Elevators are devices for transportation of both passengers and goods. They have allowed a greater evolution of cities by allowing the construction of buildings of several floors. For proper functioning, correct knowledge in case of failure, breakdown or deterioration is necessary. For this, this course aims to contribute the necessary knowledge to work on the assembly, installation and repair of all kinds of breakdowns.

Goals

- Diagnose the status of the elements and pieces of elevators and fixed elevation and transport equipment, applying medid and observation techniques, based on the technical documentation. - Perform preventive maintenance of elevators and fixed elevation and transport equipment, which do not imply replacement of elements, selecting the procedures and with the required security.

Professional opportunities

It develops its professional activity in the areas of installation and maintenance of small, medium and large companies, public and private, both on their own and foreign, dedicated to the manufacture, installation and maintenance of fixed equipment and systems of elevation and transport of people and loads.

To prepare you

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF1478 Training Unit. Preventive maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport teams certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

The course is addressed to those people who work or wish to work within the scope of preventive maintenance of elevators, who have expectations to learn issues related to their performance, operation, machinery, etc. It is also aimed at those who want to expand their professional knowledge and notions in some specific aspect of it.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University and PhD master). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
