UF2360 Topography and Communications Course. Basic knowledge

In the field of land representations, it is necessary to know the different fields within the topography and geodesia, within the corresponding professional area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to know and perform topography and communications procedures, more specifically with actions associated with guidance and location in the field.

The objectives to be achieved with this basic topography course are the following: - Interpret the cartography of an action zone. - Identify land accidents on mapping and aerial photography. - Position elements in a plane according to your coordinates. - Locate proposed points on the field or topographic map from concrete data. - Establish the differences between a global positioning system and a compass. - Recognize the different parameters that we can associate with guidance work, such as Magnetic Route or Decline. - Collect and store navigation points, which serve as support cartography. - Describe and use radio media to transmit messages. - Cite the capacities of communications systems, both analog and digital. - Identify, operate and maintain radio communications systems used by emergency services. - Describe and apply work procedures and standards in messing.

After performing this basic topography course, it develops your professional activity as a worker in companies dedicated to environmental and guidance actions. You can work in a coordinated manner with the members who are part of patrols and under the orders of a responsible.

This formation conforms to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2360 Topography and communications, basic knowledge. It certifies you having overcome the different competition units included. And it is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the ordering of the System of Vocational Training the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course of topography and communications is aimed at professionals from the world of topography and geodesy. More specifically those linked to the orientation and positioning of patrols and points in the field. And in general to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to topography and communications, as well as their basic knowledge.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
