Clinical sexology and couple therapy (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

The sexual problems both individual and in the couple is currently one of the reasons for the most demanded consultations. Factors of various kinds, such as a specific disease, or cultural and psychological factors can be responsible for sexual conflicts. Cultural diversity, lack of communication, negotiation and few skills to solve problems are the most common causes of conflicts in the couple. With the Master of Inesem you will have the possibility of deepening the variables involved in preventive aspects, as well as the diagnosis and intervention in sexual difficulties and the improvement of relationships and being able to carry out a complete and beneficial intervention for the plaintiff.

- You will learn and review the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to identify, evaluate, diagnose and intervene. - You will identify the variables involved in the origin and maintenance of the different sexual dysfunctions (organic, psychological, relational and cultural components). - Know socio -affective development and intervention processes with families. - Know pathologies and dysfunctions related to sexuality.

The projection of the course in clinical sexology and sexual therapy at work level is focused on training professionals for the scope of psychology, education, medicine, and sexual advice, which have a previous basic degree and that can obtain greater knowledge in this specialist field to apply it especially in both public and private consultation.

It prepares you to obtain comprehensive training in human sexual behavior, both individual and in the field of a couple, thus to address sexuality from the different fields of the person, biological, psychological and social, with the aim of providing students and professionals in the field in the field of competencies, instruments and knowledge necessary for specialized, complete and multidisciplinary intervention.

The clinical sexology and couple therapy course is aimed at professionals from the field of health, social intervention and education such as pedagogy, occupational therapy, social work, psychology, social education, etc., with the aim of training professionals for sexological awareness and intervention and specializing in this sector.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
