This module generally addresses the entire development of a PPP from the initial conception to the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure subject to the concession. From the bidding process, through the analysis of the different contracts and their modifications, the details of the demand and availability risks will be studied for the particular case of a transport infrastructure, a highway with a shadow toll. The module concludes with the accounting and treasury aspects of a concession, with a review of the litigation and arbitrations that may arise in them and a section of recommendations based on experience in PPP management as well as the analysis of the evolution of different contracts concluded in Spain.
After completing the course "Aspects of PPP business management", a range of job opportunities emerges in sectors that require specialists in concessions and public-private collaborations. Graduates will be able to occupy key roles in the management and development of infrastructure projects from an accounting, fiscal and administrative perspective.
