MAMS0108 Course Installation of carpentry elements (full professional certificate)

In the field of wood, furniture and cork, it is necessary to know the installation of carpentry elements. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for measurements for the installation of carpentry elements, the assembly and installation of wooden doors and windows, the installation of wood structures and the installation of wood and similar coatings.

- Check conditions of the work, carry out measurements and data collection, for the realization of the sketches and the planning of the installation of the carpentry elements, according to the work bases. - Develop installation graphic proposals by applying manual and/or computer means to obtain the constructive solution of the installation according to the work plan. - Relate the materials and carpentry components necessary to be used in the installation based on the established criteria, to assess mode and provision period. - Make simple calculations of wood and derivative structures to facilitate the provisioning of the manufacture and installation according to the requirements and priorities of the client. - Check that the material responds to what is stipulated in the project to verify that the supply is the ideal and the conditions of the premises allow the start of the works to be developed, as established. - Perform the necessary work with precision, to place and set the doors and wood windows and derivatives, according to technical prescriptions and complying with occupational safety and health standards. - Perform the necessary tasks to incorporate the accessories and adjust the installed elements, following the appropriate methods, ensuring their operation. - Manually retouch the damages caused by the transport and installation of the elements that will be used in the assembly, for the elimination of the present damage and of the future facilities. - Specify the tools, materials and products necessary for the installation of coatings, according to the constructive solution adopted and according to the characteristics of the installation of coatings. - Carry out the preparation and composition of the elements to install the coatings, according to the fixing systems and the characteristics of the base support and respecting the rules of occupational safety and health. - Prepare machines and supplies necessary to carry out the assembly and adjustment operations of the coating facilities, following the established process and complying with occupational safety and health standards. - Perform the preparation of the elements that will be used in the assembly for the finishing of the surfaces, manually retouching the damage caused by transport, observing the Occupational Health and Safety regulations. - Define the necessary means, attending to criteria of capacity, safety and access, for transport to work of installation products, according to type of material and physical characteristics of the elements. - Perform the necessary checks for the rethinking of the installation based on the real characteristics of the workplace, proposing the necessary modifications and observing that the safety and hygiene regulations are met in the workplace. - Perform the necessary work with precision to place and set the carpentry structure in the installation site, according to technical prescriptions, according to resistance and quality needs, complying with occupational safety and health standards. - Perform the preparation of the elements that will be used in the application of the treatments for the protection, retouching and restoration of the damages caused by transport and installation, observing the Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

It develops its professional activity in the areas of installation of large, medium and small businesses, on account of others or autonomously, dedicated to both manufacturing and the marketing and installation of carpentry elements.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MAMS0108 Professional Certificate of carpentry elements certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of wood, furniture and cork and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the installation of carpentry elements.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
