Master in Psychological Development and Education + University Degree (5 ECTS credits)

The objectives of the Master of Psychology have opted to define human development under a global and integrative perspective, highlighting not only purely physical aspects, but also psychological, cognitive and socio -affective. With this Master in Psychological Development and Education we intend that teachers acquire an overview of the evolutionary course of the child and the actions that have been proposed from the field of psychology to address the problems in the development of the infant and the preteen. Thanks to the realization of this Master in Psychological Development and Education, it can intervene in situations in which behavior modification processes have to be carried out in the children's stage, as well as learning the didactics and attention at this stage.

Delimit the concept of development from a global approach that integrates the physical, cognitive, psychological and affective aspects of the human being, develop the itinerary of the child's evolutionary course emphasizing the main milestones of their development from the prenatal stage to nine years of age, knowing the main manifestations of child psychopathology and the methods of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment that are used from psychology to address them. Precocos of the various disorders and difficulties in development to make possible early detection and more effective intervention, analyze the concept of psychoeducational intervention and know its main functions and objectives, to know the scope of action, the target population and the main theoretical models in early attention, to know the emergence, curricular programming, and the main pedagogical contributions in the stage of children's education, know behaviors and detail the basic aspects of the techniques used for the development, maintenance and elimination of behaviors.

Child Psychology Centers, Child and Primary and Clinical Education Schools.

Thanks to this Master of Psychological Development and Education, the student will be able to acquire the basic and necessary knowledge to deal and relate to children up to nine years of age. Also, students train to assess the different realities of the evolutionary development of children from a psychosocial approach.

The Master in Psychological Development and Education is aimed at all those teachers of Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education professors, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. Education professionals interested in quality training that allows them to deal with the changing reality of the classrooms and the new competences that are required for the exercise of their profession.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
