Master of Permanent Training in Geotechnics and Foundations + 60 ECTS credits

The Master in Geotechnics of Structuralia is a program that seeks to strengthen, increase and strengthen the knowledge and skills of professionals in the construction sector, geology and civil engineering in geotechnical engineering.

Students who complete the Master in Geotechnics may satisfactorily prove that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform functions and develop their professional career in the field of geotechnical engineering in civil engineering and construction companies, both engineering, architecture studies and construction companies. Objectives: - Strengthen and increase students' knowledge in geotechnical engineering. - Provide the theoretical/practical foundations essential to perform functions in the area of geotechnics. - Provide students with the essential tools within the scope of geotechnics. - You enter to resort during their work and/or academic trajectory to students in numerical modeling in geotechnical engineering and in the advanced constituent models for soils and rocks.

The program travels, in a total of nine modules, the main aspects related to this discipline. In addition to deepening the great traditional blocks, the master also affects the aspect of numerical modeling in geotechnics, which is fundamental today to perform responsibilities and functions in this field. In addition to providing the necessary theoretical framework, the Master will also allow students to carry out cases and practical exercises. At the end of the program, the realization of the final master's work (TFM) will allow students to review and apply the most important knowledge acquired throughout the same

In the first place, professionals in the Civil Engineering sector and construction are addressed, which includes engineers of roads, channels and ports, geologists, geologists, mining engineers and architects. It is also aimed at construction professionals.
