Practical Animal Welfare Course for carriers

Today, one of the main problems in livestock farms is found in ignorance when handling the animal. It is vital that cattle do not suffer any type of injury and travel in the right conditions. With this practical course of animal welfare for carriers, the necessary knowledge will be obtained for the total compliance with the appropriate conditions when transporting cattle.

- Define the state of general welfare and health of animals and detect it through environmental control, food and observation of signs - Provide the necessary and required knowledge in terms of animal protection during transport. - Study the morphology and physiology of the main livestock species. - Identify and perform the care that is carried out on replacement animals to obtain their adaptation to exploitation and adaptation as breeders. - Distinguish the marking and/or identification systems of the rereading and bait animals according to the species and apply the management procedures necessary to carry out them.

This course offers continuing learning training in the field of farm animals.

The Practical Animal Welfare course for carriers provides the necessary knowledge about the minimum aspects that must be met to achieve the welfare of livestock during transport.

This course is aimed at all drivers or vehicle caregivers who transport domestic farm animals of different equine, bovine, sheep, goat, swine, cunícola or poultry species. As well as all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to auxiliary operations in the care, transport and management of animals.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
