In the field of the world of zoology, it is necessary to know those knowledge and skills that prepare us to perform those functions of a zoo caregiver, as well as the different legal, technical and labor issues that prepare us to perform a correct work in the field of zoos.

- Analyze the evolution of zoos. - Know a concrete definition of animal welfare. - Analyze the CITES agreement, as well as its operation, needs, etc. - Analyze Law 31/2003, of October 27, on Wildlife Conservation in Zoological Parks. - Know the purposes of a park and visitors who go to it. -Analize the parts of a zoo. - Identify the various collections of animals that inhabit the zoos. - Know the protocol that has to be followed before the escape of animals. -Cok the figure of the veterinary assistant in the zoo. - Know the quarantine and necropsy zone, as well as the importance they have with respect to animals. -Analize the concept of telenesthesia. - Analyze the immobilization that different animals present. - Analyze the different pathologies presented by zoo animals. - Know the deworming program. - Identify the main alterations of animals behavior: stereotypes and chronic stress.

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of veterinarian and zoology, which allows to acquire complete training that will allow dedication in the animals sector, and zoological facilities, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the animal and zoo.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
