Currently, the tourism and services sector is one of the great buzas of our economy. This implies that more and more, a greater qualification and specialization of the professionals working in this sector are required. This course offers specialized training for the Tourist and Leisure and Free Time Coordinator. We must know that tourist animation plays a very important asset as a claim for the different entities and companies of the tourism sector. This course provides the necessary knowledge to learn to coordinate tourist animators to give a good response and image to customers, in addition to offering the bases of the management and coordination of groups of monitors and sociocultural animation activities, describing the functions, resources, procedures and methodology that will allow teachers to allow the proper performance of their work at the professional level in this area of growing expansion.

Goals

- Understand the concept and objectives of animation in the tourist context, making special emphasis on the characteristics and knowledge of its professionals. - Know how to organize an animation department, both internally and in its relations with the other departments of a tourist establishment. - Interpret and specify the animation project, limiting all the elements that compose it, to achieve a degree of detail and operation that allows its practical and real execution. - Verify and supervise the availability and suitability of open spaces, facilities and material resources, to ensure that the values of their use parameters respond to the operability and safety criteria provided in the animation project. - Learn to design animation programs, knowing the different existing types and the tools that can be used, as well as the possible methods of temporalization, promotion and evaluation. - Support animation activity in concepts of roles, leadership and dynamics of groups. - Delimit the role of the sociocultural animator and the free time monitor, describing its functions, responsibilities, professional profile and intervention areas. - Describe the processes and stages in the planning and programming of sociocultural animation projects in the educational area. - Analyze the bases of the management and coordination of groups of monitors and animators, affecting the tasks of organization of activities in different natural and urban environments. - Expose and develop the techniques, procedures and basic methodology of the coordinator of sociocultural monitors and animators to carry out their tasks. - Present the basic measures and techniques of safety and risk prevention and indicate the essential emergency action guidelines.
