Summary

Early care implies detecting, evaluating and intervening with problem development situations in an attempt to ensure the physical, psychological and social well -being of the boy and the girl with disabilities, disorders or at risk of suffering them. This course of an expert in early care: detection, evaluation and intervention (double degree + 5 ECTS credits) intends to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and tools for the design and development of preventive, optimizing and compensatory actions that facilitate the proper maturation of the children in all evolutionary areas.

Goals

- Know the scope, the target population and the main theoretical models in early care. - Learn the basic patterns of diagnosis and intervention in children with evolutionary disorders from the following areas: health, educational, family and social. - Detail the early signs of the various disorders and difficulties in the development to make possible early detection and more effective intervention. - Know the main neurodevelopment disorders. - Understand the different modes of intervention in early attention.
