- Offer the basic concepts and theoretical foundations of the Pilates technique. - Provide students with knowledge about the anatomical and physiological bases of the human body and movement. - Identify the various modalities of Pilates and their respective specific training. - Know the body fundamentals necessary for proper Pilates practice. - Recognize various special cases in which the practice of the Pilates Method offers greater benefits and the specific training necessary for each case. - Recognize the different types of foods and their characteristics in order to enjoy a balanced nutritious diet. - Identify the most common injuries in sports and know what to do if you suffer any of them. - Differentiate the ethical standards that the Pilates instructor must follow and the psychological notions that he must implant in his students to achieve success in practice. - Know in depth the parts of the hip and knee to be able to treat them. - Establish the bases to carry out the rehabilitation. - Perform Pilates exercises on mats of different types.
