Master in Language Therapy

Language therapy serves to identify, diagnose and treat communication pathologies and speech and language difficulties. Language therapy applies scientific methods and techniques to improve communication. Thanks to this master's degree in language therapy you will acquire the necessary abilities to make a multidisciplinary approach to the main disorders of language, communication and speech, which present neurological, development, psycho -affective or cognitive etiologies. You will deepen the diagnosis and treatment strategies for each pathology and study aspects related to the anatomy, physiology and dynamics of the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as its relationship with pathological manifestations at the communicative level.

At the end of this master's degree in language therapy you can work in different fields such as health departments dealing with different neurological and development alterations, in educational centers working with language disorders and associations that address the evaluation and intervention of autism spectrum disorder.

This master's degree in language therapy prepares you to carry out a correct evaluation of language and communication to create and apply intervention programs adapted to each patient, you will deepen the different neurological pathologies and strengthen the knowledge of autism spectrum disorder, their evaluation and intervention. In addition, you will know the basis of anatomoneurophysiology of speech and language.

This master's degree in language therapy is aimed at every professional who has a degree in the health and educational field that they wish to expand and deepen their training within the area of rehabilitation of language, speech, voice and communication disorders, as well as acquire knowledge about autism spectrum disorder.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
