In recent times, countless types of new diseases have been detected that until recently it was not even known. In addition, numerous forms of prevention and healing are also detected. This is the case of radiotherapy, carrying out treatments with ionizing radiation under medical prescription, with equipment provided by encapsulated sources or radiation producers, applying general and specific radioprotection standards and collaborating with the doctors responsible for the hospital radiological protection units, following quality guarantee standards, today it is possible. Thus, with this course it is intended to operate with the dosimetry in radiotherapy, applying the physicomatematic foundations in the use of ionizing radiation.
