MF1298_1 MAINTENANCE AND CONSERVATION COURSE

In the field of Maritime Pesquera, it is necessary to know the different fields of auxiliary activities and support to the ship in the port, within the professional area fishing and navigation. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to collaborate in the maintenance and ingracha of a fishing vessel.

- Apply ministered and painted techniques in the parts of the ship, attending to the composition of the materials to be treated. - Apply maintenance and conservation techniques of the hurry and wires, both those of the vessel in port and those of warehouses on land, depending on its characteristics. - Identify the existing respects in the scarfs or land stores, so that when any need is produced on board the ship, these can be available in the shortest possible time. - Describe the parts, dimensions and accessories of the ship related to the maneuvers of transfer, loading and discharge. - Describe the parts of the ship related to its start, maintenance and stowage of fishing elements. - Analyze prevention and safety measures regarding the actions of the manipulation of the media and equipment, contained in the ship's safety plans. - Apply the Security Plan analyzing the measures of prevention, safety and environmental protection of the ship - List the preventive means and security criteria to be taken into account during the roap and/or transfer operations of the ship in the port, in accordance with the regulations for the prevention of occupational hazards, in order to minimize possible accidents.

It develops its professional activity on their own, in fishing companies dedicated to extractive activity, being able to expand this area to network shops and other industries directly related to fishing activity. It depends functional and hierarchically on a superior.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1298_1 maintenance and conservation of the ship, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls The different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the maritime fisheries world, specifically in auxiliary activities and support to the vessel in port, within the professional area fishing and navigation, and to all those people interested in acquiring necessary knowledge to collaborate in the maintenance and rooting of a fishing vessel.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
