MF2226_3 course: Creation, conservation and recovery techniques of original graphic work matrices

In the field of graphic arts, it is necessary to know the different fields of engraving and stamping techniques, within the professional area artistic graphic activities and techniques. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to supervise and coordinate the processes of creation, recovery and duplication of original graphic work matrices.

- Determine and select the materials to be used in the process of obtaining matrices in relation to defined stamping techniques and systems - Define work procedures for obtaining original graphic work matrices –Calcographic, xylographic, lithographic, serigraphic and photosensitive - that maintain the conditions of trace, spot, texture or other previously defined. - Conceptual and technically restructuring the graphic work of author from specifications, faithfully developing it in the creation of original graphic work matrices. - Apply the current artistic currents and technological innovations by developing new contemporary matric process processing techniques in the different printing systems - Apply safety and hygiene plans and the corresponding current regulations, correctly using the media and security equipment in obtaining matrices for original graphic work - Apply techniques for creating images or digital matrices, operating with computer equipment and applications, according to the final features of the work Original graph - Apply creative techniques to obtain photolites and assemblies based on the type of stamping or matrix to use that allow to achieve graphic effects established in the original graphic work project - Apply conservation, recovery and duplication treatments of matrices that do not affect their physical integrity and facilitate their reproduction. - Apply techniques to obtain photoliths and montages based on the type of matrix to be duplicated.

He develops his professional activity in original graphic work workshops, generally on his own, as an independent professional, in cooperatives or other association formulas and also on behalf of others. He always works as a team or in collaboration with other professionals related to the original graphic work. You can perform your activity in public or private institutions, in the departments dedicated to original graphic work. In art galleries specialized in original graphic work. In conservation and restoration departments of a graphic document, collaborating with the conservative and restorer.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF2226_3 training module techniques of creation, conservation and recovery of original graphic work matrices, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the corresponding certificate of professional respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
