University Superior Course in physical activity in the school environment (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

This course of physical activity in the school environment is an integral training through which you will explore in a deep and practical way the world of sport and physical activity in the educational context. From the importance of school sports to sports initiation, motor skills and psychology, this course addresses a variety of essential issues to promote healthy physical activity and the integral development of children. You will learn different aspects of teaching-learning, evaluation and training of physical abilities and basic skills. In addition, you will understand the relevance of psychology in physical education, as well as to intervene psychologically in sports initiation.

When completing this course of physical activity in the school environment you will be trained to work as a physical educator or monitor in school environments, promoting and teaching physical and sports activities. You can also play as a coach in sports and activities aimed at children and young people in educational institutions or sports centers.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
