UF1863 course and configuration of associated devices and connectivity services

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different fields of the operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional communications area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the installation and configuration of associated devices and connectivity services.

- Identify data transport and transmission devices, as well as the modules and interfaces to connect with the public lines of voice and data communications. - Explain the functions of data transport and transmission devices and connection interfaces used for public networks connection, according to technical specifications of the devices. - List the technologies used in the transport and transmission of data, taking into account the associated standards and protocols. - Cite the protocols used in data transmission, taking into account the lines and technologies used in the connection. - List the standards applicable to connection interfaces with public networks of voice and data communications, explaining their mechanical, electrical, functional and procedure characteristics according to technical specifications of the elements used in these networks. - Explain the characteristics of the transmission media that can be found in public networks of voice and data communications, taking into account current technologies. - Identify the installation, configuration and implementation processes of configurations in voice and data communications devices, and apply them to integrate devices in public communications networks according to given specifications. - Explain the safety regulations applicable to the installation of a voice and data communications device, according to technical specifications of the device itself. - Describe the procedures to implement settings on voice and data communications devices. - Explain the function and values of each of the parameters involved in the configuration of a voice and data communications device, taking into account their technical specifications. - Install voice and data communications devices, for the provision of communications services, according to given specifications. - Make the configuration on a communications device, for the implementation of a communications service, following specific specifications.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in public or private companies or entities of any size, which have connection to public networks for transport and transmission of data, in the Network and Communications Department.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1863 Formative Unit. Installation and configuration of associated devices and connectivity services Certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of computer science and communications specifically in operations in voice and data communications systems, within the professional area communications, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the installation and configuration of associated devices and connectivity services.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
