UF2688 Course Analysis and detection of gender violence and women's care processes in situations of violence

In the field of sociocultural and community services, it is necessary to know the different fields of promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the analysis and detection of gender violence and the processes of attention to women in situations of violence.

- Determine mechanisms that allow detecting, in an intervention environment, situations of violence that affect women and their offspring, including trafficking and traffic for sexual exploitation. - Point out the accompaniment to a victim of violence against women on the first visit to a specialized service that guarantees the avoidance of secondary victimization processes. - Analyze awareness and preventive actions to be implemented to avoid that situations of violence against women occur or aggravated from participation in an intervention team.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others in the public and private sphere, in collaboration with the intervention team and from the direct supervision of the competent person of higher level. Likewise, it detects situations of inequality and the needs derived from it, organizing and transferring the relevant information in the subject of their specialty, both to the reference population and to higher level professionals, to promote and guide actions in the field of effective equality of women and men, and prevent discrimination of the female population. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2688 Analysis and detection of gender violence and the processes of attention to women in situations of violence, certifying having overcome the different competence units in them included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective certificate of professionalism. Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of sociocultural services and the community, specifically in the promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education, and to all those people interested in the analysis and detection of gender violence and the processes of attention to women in situations of violence.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
