The assistance to the edition entails the realization of a series of processes that range from the ideation of the work or product to its sale, through various treatments to which this work or product is subjected. This training is aimed at learning and acquiring knowledge and skills that allow training specialists to edition, which support and collaborate in the editorial management process, providing tools for the realization of the stylistic and orthographic correction of the texts, management of the contracting of the copyright of the works, organization of the contents, etc., based on previously established norms and criteria. In short, all the factors that allow the achievement of a quality editorial work.

- Acquire the necessary knowledge to schedule the edition of a work by adapting the objectives to the market characteristics and apply the computer instruments or specific project management programs. - Identify the key elements of the decision making of the editing process and study in depth the various phases that make up the editorial process, helping students in the acquisition of capacities to apply this knowledge to project management. - Improve the comprehensive management of editorial planning of an editorial product improving, contributing to the increase in competitiveness of both products and the publisher itself in the market. - To correction of the original texts, at the syntactic and spelling level, to improve the understanding according to the editorial -style book and according to the indications marked by the editor. - Check the corrected printed tests and prepare the indices included in the work to finish the text correction phase. - Develop products graphic designs and prepare originals for processing. - Know the criteria for graphic design depending on the characteristics of the work, the recipients, the graphic continuity in the series, optimization of resources and taking into account the clarity and effectiveness of the contents. - Determine the regulations to follow and manage an appropriate application to the relationships established between the editorial sector and the different professionals, suppliers, services, organizations and institutions. - Provide a global vision of copyright and intellectual property at the national, European and international level, as well as the differences between laws from different geographical areas.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Argn0210 Professional Certificate of Edition certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different communities publishing the different communities Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
