Postgraduate in neuropsychology of neurodevelopment disorders + university degree (5 ECTS credits)

This course in neuropsychology of neurodevelopment disorders offers specialized training. Neurodevelopmental disorders are alterations or delays of the development of functions that are associated with the maturation of the central nervous system and that result in the affectation of the skill that the SNC has to receive, process, store and respond to the information that comes from both outside and the organism itself. This course in neuropsychology of neurodevelopment disorders is designed to train qualified professionals, highly specialized in diagnosis and therapeutic approach to disorders that most usually affect children.

- Understand the first bases and concepts of neuropsychology. - Analyze the differences that exist between neuroscience and neuropsychology. - Know the different types of treatments that are entailed to neuropsychology for certain circumstances. - Enter the concepts of learning and memory and their brain location - Know the evaluation process to detect children's learning difficulties. - Learn the instruments that are necessary for the evaluation of intelligence, the learning potential, the skills and school performance of the children. - Detect a child with autistic spectrum disorders, for later evaluation and intervention. - Know the diagnostic criteria of ASD. - Know the basic and most important aspects about hyperactivity (TDHA). - Learn to intervene psychoeducationally to a child with hyperactivity.

The course in neuropsychology of neurodevelopment disorders is aimed at all those professionals in this environment who want to continue training, as well as those individuals who want to devote themselves to this area and wish to acquire knowledge about the neuropsychology of neurodevelopmental disorders.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
