Course for lifeguards (federated card)

If you want to devote yourself professionally to the scope of the lifeguard learning the fundamental aspects of the lifeguard's work, this is your time, with the lifeguard course you can acquire the necessary knowledge to do this work in the best possible way. At present, in the world of physical and sports activities, specifically in the lifeguard in aquatic facilities, it is very important to know the different processes for which they are carried out, becoming knowing everything related to this environment. Carrying out this upper course will learn issues such as accident prevention in aquatic facilities, as well as the rescue of individuals in the aquatic environment. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

- Supervise the installation and specific materials, to ensure the correct state according to current regulations. - Use personal material and equipment to prevent occupational risks. - Transmit and enforce the regulations of the installation to the user, to guarantee coexistence and security, applying effective communication techniques. - Perform the preventive training that allows to maintain the optimal physical and technical conditions of the lifeguard. - Monitor the designated area systematically, to anticipate the accident or emergency situation acting accordingly. - Analyze the conditions of the situation, to decide the intervention to be carried out according to the established emergency plans. - Place the action, approach, control and towing of the victim according to the situation of the environment, of the injured and of itself. - Extract the injured based on the estimation of its characteristics and the environmental conditions present. - Acquire psychological knowledge applied to lifeguard.

This lifeguard course prepares you to know in depth the surroundings of the lifeguard, as well as the essential characteristics of the lifeguard to exercise this work in a professional way, acquiring a series of techniques and knowledge that will help you perform this function successfully.

The lifeguard course is aimed at all those professionals in the lifeguard sector who want to continue training in the field, as well as any person who wishes to work in this environment and wants to acquire the appropriate knowledge about the function of the lifeguard.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
