History course: The cradle of civilizations

One of the main tasks of history is the analysis of the past to the present, exalting the sobering role that history grants as a source of teaching. In this way, through the study of historical-cultural diversity, it is aspired to offer the ability to understand how humanity has existed, acted and thought about the different contexts of the past. Thus the course, the cradle of civilizations, will provide the necessary knowledge to strengthen cognition in relation to the history of humanity in ancient age.

- Obtain a comprehensive and critical panorama of archeology as a discipline of knowledge. - Offer a state of situation of the archaeological discipline in relation to historical and contemporary contexts. - Study prehistoric societies in the Iberian Peninsula through its material manifestations from the social, economic and ideological point of view. - Analysis of the behavior of the Mesopotamian civilizations that formed the cultural substrate of the Greco-Roman society to which the West belongs. - Acquire a historical and rigorous knowledge of the various aspects, of ancient Egypt: its various kingdoms and dynasties, their social and cultural life, their religion, their language and writing, such as its archeology and its art. - Being able to characterize the Greek society, for the contributions it provided to the Universal Cultural Heritage, being a basic source for the knowledge of the development of Western civilization. - Determine the history of ancient Rome, taking into account the concepts of monarchy and the Republic, which directly conditioned the development of the Roman Empire. - Know the main facts and historical acts that have taken place in the ancient history of the Iberian Peninsula. - Analyze and determine the events in charge of provoking the crisis of the old model.

This course called the cradle of civilizations, gives students the knowledge, skills, competences and skills required in the performance of a correct and successful task the work environment of history. As well as allows to know the most relevant contents in relation to the birth, evolution and development of the first civilizations of humanity.

This course called, the cradle of civilizations, is aimed at professionals in the world of history, specifically those people who show special interest in the origin and development of the first civilizations, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the evolution and birth of history.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
