Summary
Malnutrition in older adults is a complex and multifactorial problem that can result from various causes, such as decreased appetite, chewing or swallowing problems, chronic diseases, mobility limitations, social isolation and economic factors, among others. This course in malnutrition in advanced age will help you acquire the necessary knowledge so you can specialize in geriatric nutrition, because as people age, their nutritional needs and their ability to maintain adequate food can change. It is essential to adapt the food to this situation to ensure a correct state of health and quality of life of the old man.

With this course in malnutrition in advanced age you will have the possibility of understanding how malnutrition affects patients of the elderly and how to address this problem effectively, together with a multidisciplinary team. This training is designed to provide you with knowledge and skills that will allow you to work with this population more informed and competent and participate in specialized teams.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in technician in Auxiliary Nursing and Diplomas or Graduates in Human and Dietary Nursing and Dietary according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the Management of Health Professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
