MF1221_3 Planning and Maintenance of Local and Metropolitan Area Wireless Networks

In the field of computer science and communications it is necessary to know the different second level maintenance fields in radiocommunications systems, within the professional area communications. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to organize and manage the commissioning and maintenance of wireless local and metropolitan areas.

- Identify the topologies of local and metropolitan area wireless networks and the characteristics of the equipment, and plan and coordinate the execution of the project following given technical specifications. - Identify the parameters of the devices and equipment of the local and metropolitan area wireless networks, and establish the configuration and test procedures for service. - Distinguish the safety mechanisms and systems of local and metropolitan area wireless networks, and configure its safety, following given technical and functional specifications. - Prepare supervision and maintenance procedures of wireless and metropolitan area wireless networks, following given technical and functional specifications.

It develops its professional activity in public or private companies or entities, of any size, both on their own and on behalf of others, that have communications network infrastructure and offer communications services.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1221_3 training module. Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of computer science and communications specifically in second level maintenance in radiocommunications systems within the professional communications area and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the planning and maintenance of wireless networks of local and metropolitan area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
